Default V6 to V8

Alright I know a lot of people have posted about swapping a 3.4 or a 5.7 but I wanna know more details on exactly what would need to be bought!!!! Well I have a 3.4 and am looking at a nice Z with 59,000 miles on it that I wanna buy. But If I buy that car I wanted to still keep my 3.4 for whatever. Now Im planning on right now buying a new engine, trans, clutch, flywheel, and all that good stuff for my 3.4L. I figured though, If Im buying all this why not try and just get the 5.7L motor?! But electrical and wiring harness and stuff would have to be installed I know that..........but does anyone think building this will be worth it??? Or would it be just one problem after another after its all assembled???

I think that pretty much everyone on here is going to tell you don't waste your time/money and just get the Z, which I am going to agree with. For what it would cost you to get the motor and all the wiring and everything else it would probably equal the cost of the Z anyway, pluss if you buy the Z you would have two cars, or if you decide to sell your v6 keep the money to either mod the Z or to buy a new engine if/when the time comes(shouldn't be for a very long time).
