UPDATE; EGR Issue, Please help!
Hey guys,
I know some of you may be mad for me starting a new thread, but, any help would be great. Here is the link to the old one to catch up who doesn't already know my issue.
So, I thought I had a solution to the issue by just removing the old gasket between the EGR Valve tube and the Header. (Picture Below)
Once I remove the bolt and gasket and such, I have this issue now... (Picture's Below)
I wrapped the hole with some muffler tape and it seems to be holding for now, however, my new issue is that I need to replace it, because that's not going to pass CA smog. I searched around and it seems that I have to replace the "Mount", because from what I can tell, the tube (pic one) that goes from the EGR Valve to the Header is connected the the mount/bracket that the EGR Valve sits on.. (Picture Below)
The red square is the "mount/bracket" I need to replace now. The blue arrow is the top portion of the EGR Valve Tube, and the red arrow is where the hole is in the tube.
Basically from what I can tell.. The EGR Valve tube cannot be removed and replaced, the entire mounting bracket needs to be replaced.
If anyone can help me locate the part, or tell me if I'm wrong please tell me.
Thanks
Ghost

looks like youll need to replace the mount have you checked the local salvage yards ive been looking at the gm sites and all seem to have this "EGR tube" no pics tho so i cant tell what it exactly is but id say if you looked into them and they were what you need its only 25$

Basic: I already called GM and checked their site, not the tube I need. I'm going to check a few yards tomorrow to see if they have one, just checking to see if anyone else has had this issue before, and possible solutions.

That's a massssssssive hole for quicksteel... LOL.
Ill give it a shot, but, I'm thinking osduck has the best idea... You can't get the mount on it's own, it's stupid, but then again, chevy never makes any sense..
Thanks for the help everyone!
