Default EGR and header issue, please help.

Hey Everyone,

I have a 1996 3.8L V6 Camaro.. I recently had Pacesetter headers installed... However, I now have an exhaust leak.. My exhaust guy told me it's coming from my EGR Tube.. I have gone to Kragen, Napa and a few others yet no one know exactly what the gasket required is called. I'm going to post a few pictures to see if anyone here has an idea.. or even a solution...

EGR and header issue, please help.-p1020054.jpg

The gasket that goes between the EGR Air Tube and the Header is what I need.. Please any help would be great.. I had another picture that showed where the tube went, but it won't let me post it.. It runs into the EGR Valve..

Thanks. Ghost

Just make 2 plates with bolt holes in it, and screw them over top of the egr holes in the headers and intake mani.

Won't that cause an issue with the EGR and cause it to throw codes and crap? Plus... My EGR tube is strange.. It only has one bolt, yet everything I seem to find pre-made plates or gaskets has two..

Also how are the headers working out? Worth the money on a 3.8?

They are amazing Carnage. When you get a chance, click on the link in my siggy. Listen to the old exhaust clip, then click and check it with the headers.

what kind of headers, lt headers are not legal in cali, removing egr is not legal in cali. dont have a gasket on my lt1 egr but it did not seal right to the header so i used some high temp rvt on it and it sealed. did not get any on the inside part of the tube so none of the rvt got inside the exhaust to mess up my cat.
