Turning off the headlights

i have a 2000 v6 camaro... is it possible to turn off the headlights while the car is on and running?

Get in the car, start it, turn of the lights and go out and look...

If you turn them on manually, then yes. If you turn the car on and don't turn the **** while it is dark outside then the lights will come on when you take it out of park. No matter what though you will always have your parking lights/daytime running lights on.

best way to set it to manual that i know of is to set the E-brake up a lil (just so the lite pops on the dash BTW: this is before you put the keys in the ignition and when you want the to come on even while driveing just drop the E brake down and they should just pop back on.) and that over rides the Auto lite feature......I hate it when my lites come on and it's still lite out side.....looks better with just the markers on.

The sensor in the dash vent is easy to remove and splice once the radio is moved outta the way.. I did that not only for total manual control, but also to save wear on my dual halos...
