Default Turn Signals

I have just become the owner of a '99 Camaro, V-6, 5-speed. (traded an '88 F-250 Diesel for it) It's over all in good shape but has a few annoyances. Right now,I am trying to figure out why the turn signals keep blowing the fuse. The other day,I replaced the 20 amp fuse, drove about 30 miles with the signals working fine, parked for a few hours, started the car and no turn signals. The fuse was blown. This seems to be a habit. Any suggestions ???

The same thing is happening to me. I think it may be my reverse tail light wiring. The fuse that is wired to the turn signals is also wired to the reverse tail lights (white). My signals work as long as I don't go into reverse.

apparently shorts in the wiring arent uncommon on the 4th gens, ive got so many in mine its not even funny. my turn signals flicker while in the process of flashing. i tried replacing the flasher module and the fuse and neither of those worked, so i have a short.
