Cool Turn Signal Terror!!!

So I've replaced a faulty marker light in the front left market lamp of my 94 Z28 A4, and now I have a functioning marker lamp on the left side. However, my left side blinker flashes at half the speed of the right side when it flashes. And...if I have the lights off while dark out, you can vaguely see the left arrow very dimly lit whereas the right arrow is not. If I put the 4 way flashers on, both arrows flash correctly and all the lamps seem to be functioning. Usually I can find the problem, however this time I'm alittle baffled. I'm pretty sure if it was the flasher, I'd get nothing. Has anyone else seen this before? The fact that the left arrow is slightly dim and vaguely visible with the light off when its dark, makes me think something is definitely up. My arm on the column has a decent amount of play from being 19 years old, but it still works. I don't see how that could be a problem. Could I have a problem with a rear socket maybe? I believe all the rear bulbs are functioning, however, if the little 192 bulb in the corner of the rear tail lamp was out, could that cause the side to blink slower? I've had an issue with that socket before.

On these cars a lamp out causes the signals to flash faster. I'd think it was a ground issue, not quite sure where they are tho.

Sounds like a ground.

I've seen them either blink slower or just stay on all together in F bodies. I don't recall them flashing fast like my Nissan used to.

I have a problem with my turn signals flashing slow intermittently ever since Chevy Service did a tear down and rebuild of my steering column to fix the steering wheel angle adjuster. It's annoying, sometimes it goes so slow I think it's going to stop!

indicates a draw of less amps did you replace with a different amp bulb or get the bulb in backwards.

if both are to slow its a failing flasher or wrong flasher
