Which one stays on? If it is the front then I would look into the BCM, the rear is not linked (at least in 99) to the BCM. The DRLs and front blinkers are both on the same element and the BCM controls the DRLs in your car.

im gona agree with massey and say the bcm is most likely the problem. any other wierd stuff happening? bcm, body control module, is under the dash some place. lol.

Do you have LED bulbs in any of the sockets for the blinkers?

LEDs may cause issues with things like turnsignals or brakes if you get the cheaper type that do not have a resistor to mimic the load of the standard bulb.

No, but how do i remove the turn signal bulb, im out here trying to get it. Not the running light mind you

There are only 2 bulbs in the front park lamp assy. One is a 194/168 bulb that only comes on with the lights the other is the parking light, DRL and blinker all wrapped up in one. It is a 3157.

I find that removing the headlamps is the best way to access the parking lights.

Nope, remove guard, reach under, pull out 4057 bulb, replace with 3057 bulb, ????, profit

OOPS!! I forgot you have a 97! Sorry yea go from under the car. The Catfish nose cars take out the front headlight for easier access.
