tune up... advice please..
massey knows the ls1 better than i. i have a spark plug ratchet http://community.craftsman.com/Craft...ws?tab=reviews that i can no longer do without, lol, its got a flexhead and is a little longer than a normal 3/8 ratchet. agree with fuel filter, messy but easy and dont cost much. the msd 8.5 wires are said to be one of the best for these cars. the lt1 likes the ngk tr55gp spark plug. check the map for dirt or grime and clean if needed, check and test the pvc valve, they dont cost much so if any question replace, look over hoses for any cracks or damage as you are doing all this. like said you may want to include some matinance things with you regular tune up, say change power steering fuid and brake fluid, checking brake wear while doing. the next time you might do the belts, change anitfreeze, flush and pressure test coolant system and test the charging system, anyways you get the idea.
