tubular control arms worth it?
I have heard that on older cars they make a huge difference by making the front suspension geometry more modern, but what about on my 94 camaro? I would assume the geometry is pretty good so would tubular arms make much of a difference over new stock stamped arms?
Nope, if you want to do an upgrade, swap out the stock unit bushings with Moog ones which are the same as what the 1LE ones were. This has been well-fleshed out on LS1Tech, and if you are looking for suspension improvements, call suspension guru Sam Strano <http://www.stranoparts.com> and also ask this question, and talk about what it is you want to improve about the handling of your car.
The best bang for your buck are Bilstein or Koni shocks all around, then upgrade both sways -- the SS/WS6 ones or even better Strano's hollow sways.

I'm pretty sure the stamped arms weigh less than tubular, but the tubular ones give me a lot more fine adjustment so I can dial in my alignment, and set the camber and such properly if I go out for a track day.
well after doing a quick search it seems there arent even that many places that sell the stamped arms, the only place i saw that sells it is a place called mevotech. never heard of them, and they only have the uppers. looks like when i get around to it i'll be going tubular for uppers and lowers because im not going to be doing it myself and the price difference for labor between replacing the arms and just doing the bushings is probably similar. besides i do see a track day or two in my future once new parts start getting installed
