Default Trying to sell my 94 with no luck, tell me what you think

I have had ads posted for several months trying to sell my (4 Z28 and have had zero luck with it. Yes, I actually forgot to post it here, haha. Anyway, was hoping to get some opinions. Let me know what yall think it is worth? I have located the receipt for the long block that was replaced in it, but just found it and haven't had a chance to update the ad yet. It has roughly 40k miles on it.

Are my expectations too high? Am I asking too much for this car? Or is this just a bad time for it?

Here is the CL ad which has all of the pics in it as well. Figured this was easier than reloading all of those pics. 1994 Camaro Z28

You want help rewriting the ad? It needs to be more effective, you're turning potential buyers off with too many negatives about the car. With a couple of the small nit-picky things, you would be better off fixing those yourself.

If I had more time to sit on it and the cash to spend I would fix some of those things, but unfortunately my situation demands that I either sell it quick or find a trade with better gas mileage.

Just wanted to make sure I wasn't way out of the ballpark on it. Should I not mention some of the smaller issues with it?

A lot of cars have small things. I would save that info to tell later once someone contacts you. The ad makes the car sound like a nickle and dime money pit. Maybe it is to some extent, but the ad may be scaring off buyers.

The add is written for car guys. Try writing for the general public.
Example you use the term Long block. That's a car guy term. general public would say motor rebuilt 40k miles ago.

Your in AZ are t-top leaks a big deal.

One question you want better mileage but will only trade for pre 72 cars? Not a lot of mileage stars back then.

Just my read but it comes across as: guy wants to trade a basket case car for a classic.

not saying your car is a basket case. But how it's coming across.

You don't want to lie in your ad, or hold back big important things, but you don't have to describe every little nit-picky thing either. Write the ad, read it, then close your eyes and picture the car you just described. Does it sound like something you would want to go see if you were a potential buyer? If not, tune up the ad some more.
