hey ive got a UK spec 99 z28 and every time i crank the engine to start the car the dials reset ( move from bottom to top) and the trip meter resets to zero, any ideas?? i though it could be a weak batter as it goes in red when cranking but is usually at about 14 volts. thanks

 

I have this same issue... the trip always goes to zero when I start it up. I have yet to find an answer.
