Default 99 TA gauges/dials into 99 camaro

I've managed to get hold of a 1999 TA gauge cluster, mainly for the bezel around the dials. but just as a thought, can I put the whole unit in directly? Does the odometer carry from the other car, or will it read the correct milage?

isn't the odometer digital in those cars? If that's the case, I don't think it should make a difference.

yeah its digital, so i presume the pcm stores the milage? Dunno if I want to swap yet, i'll see how it looks when it come is post. Thing is TA is better as it has MPH rather than my EURO spec Z28 with km/h for the european market while the UK still uses MPH !!

well if anyne was wondering the answer is NO!!

the overlay has different sections and the backin circuit board is different. Put in in ust to 'try' and low oil light was on all time and melted a wire, oops.

I just settled with swaping the from bezel over

looks much better

well its rained here now so she's back out. just had to pack my tensioner pully with grease though cause it started squeeking. i'll see how long it holds out.

weather in Uk prob not as bad as a blizzard but camaro's dont like ice which is what its been like here for weeks.
