Default Transmission mount question

So I'm going to put a new transmission mount in my 1994 Camaro but I've got a problem. My Camaro originally had the V6 but now has the lt1 V8. I see the transmission mounts are different for a V6 and V8. How can I tell which tranny I have so I know which mount I need?

Will a lt1 mount up to the tranny that would have been in the car?

not sure about the tranny, but why not take out the mount and take it to the auto parts store to verify which mount it is. Without knowing what was done...that may be the best solution

You wouldn't have a v-6 trans anymore cuz it doesn't bolt up to the v-8. So...with a v-8 engine, you have a v-8 trans. The aftermarket (urethane) mount made for GM is universal and will fit models from the late 1950's and up.
