Well the tranny in my auto '94 Z28 is slowly getting worse. Its to the point now where anything over 2,000 rpm will cause it to slip, so I guess im gonna need a rebuild real soon. I was just wondering if any of you guys have had your trannys rebuilt and could give me some ballpark estimates on cost. Thanks!

did you check your TPS ...throttle position sensor..
you may want to check it out.... I had the same problem my car was slippin on 2,000 RPMs

is your tranny a 700r4 or a 4l60e, mine is a 6speed so not familiar but my 89 had a 700r4 and a few years ago it was about a grand, hopefully thats not the problem

 

Mines the 4l60e, and it shifts fines when im just cruisin' around under 2,000 rmp. So hopefully it is my TPS..
