What transmission cooler are you using in your lt1 383 with 4l60E. I just rebulit my trans about 6 months a go and the fluid is burnt and not shifting right.

 

just buy the biggest one you can find, you can never have too much trans fluid cooling

I have the biggest B&M I can fit on my car

 

Did you do it yourself? can you check your pressures? If a seal is not sealing 100% it will burn up the clutch pack pretty quick. It should show up on a pressure test.

OK thanks. No I didn't rebuild it myself but I put the motor and trans into my car myself And the bad part is the guy who rebuilt it past away 2 months after rebuilding it so iI'm just going to get it rebuilt then buy the biggest cooler

 

On the seals for the gaskets, there are two tabs that need to be removed. I had an issue that this wasn't done (by a Chevy dealer) and I had leak issues. Make sure you aren't leaking fluid.
