Bought my 99' Z28 back in April. Guy was asking $6800 but could tell he needed the cash. He came out finally and said he wouldnt take less than $5500. I offered him $5000 cash on the spot and he jumped on it. People tend to change their minds when you wave some cash in their face lol! Clean ride too only 73,000mi were on it.

$5k was a fair price for an 11 year old vehicle with 73k miles.

Camaros tend to attract a lot of kids who want to take a joy ride and have no means of purchasing. I've found that when you do a quick once over of the vehicle, chat for a few minutes, and then don't even haggle verbally, just peel off some cash and you get their attention real quick. There is nothing like a ready-willing-able buyer to quickly transform the seller into a ready-willing-able seller.

here a 1997 LT1 with lets say 50K on it might get lucky to sell for 6000

idk if its just my area or what, i got my 93 for 2000 and it came with extra wheels and tires, seats and dash parts, pretty much an entire interior replacement

it had 115,000 on it and was driven by a cop so the engine is sound lol

regions do have a lot to do with market vale. For example, Las Vegas with 15% unemployment rate won't have a lot of people with discretionary cash. Metropolitan Detroit also isn't commanding top dollar for used cars.

If you ever are in the market for a new car, be sure to check the rebates in other regions. Seriously, sometimes the rebates vary by as much as $2,000 and if it's only 1,000 miles away, 1 way airfare, a nights hotel and some gas and you're still $1500-$1600 ahead
