Well what would the 2000 Z28 get in the quarter mile? Isnt that 305 at the crank not 350 like I saw? And I am going to look at it tomorrow. I will definelty miss my honda though. Such a fun car. And I heard the Camaros dont handle that well. My friend at work said he drove an SS and it handled like ****. I hope that isnt true! Anyways I am dieing to go test drive it!

A Camaro is the best handeling muscle/ponycar....it has a very good center of gravity seeing as the the motor is placed almost under the dash......

and yes its 350 at the crank not 305. (Chevy did this to help the Corvette sales )

they did it so that the Fbody wouldnt take sells away from the vette.....why would someone pay fora 45,000 Corvette when they could buy the same HP for 25,000. It was a whole marketing thing done buy Chevy.

And SS are the same exact car asa Z/28 no real performance gain same with the Trans Am and WS6 there all four the same.

Sounds great so I am really getting a faster car then I thought! Wow its gonna be a difference from my 97 prelude 200 horsepower 160 torque to 350 horsepower 380 torque? Dont know the TQ on the LS1 but its gotta be atleast double what my hondas is. Thats like going from a bike to a car atleast!

wow.. 160 tq... get ready to actually feel a car accelerate... And i still firmly believe a LT1 is better than an LS1 in some if not most cases, ive read everywhere that their cheaper to buyto mod and buy parts for and that they distribute power differently... plus i like the look of the pre 98s because they dont look like catfish.... As for handling.. i love the way my camaro handles, i can take turns soooo much better in it than in my mustang... Plus ive got fatty tires on it that wanna just grip every crack in the road.
