Default Thinking of getting a 97 Z28

Okay lately I have been getting tired of a small engine. I have a 1997 Honda Prelude SH. Very fun car to drive and I love the vtec. The thing is I want something faster and that respondes to bolt ons a lot better. I was told a Z28 would be the perfect car. I am looking at this car that is going for 8799 has 42k miles 6 speed manual. Or atleast a manual. I havent went to see it yet! Do you guys think its a good buy? Or am I heading in the wrong direction. Thanks!

It's good the miles are low, that's definately a plus, the asking price is a bit high unless the car is in immaculate condition. In the least, go and take a look at it, see what it's like and decide from there. I'd try to get it for 8K or lower.

Okay I'll call them now! Hopefully I can get it big speed improvement over my Prelude SH. And how are these things on handeling too? Can they take my prelude in handling even though it has the ATTS unit? Another thing how are the reliability of these things? Honda stuff or lower? Sorry for all these questions but can they take the Mustang GT 99+ in a race?

They sold it but I found http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail...eadExists=true

Too! Can anyone help me find a manual Z28 or better in the area code 90814? Only 30 miles away would be great

Definitly get the LS1 (2000 Z28). If I would've known the difference in the LT1 and the LS1, I would've gotten the LS1.

So whats the big difference? And can it take a 99-04 Mustang GT? 305 HP and 335 torque? Good for modding also too?

I thought that there was little difference between LS1 and LT1s... im pretty sure ive heard that LT1s will stomp on LS1s.
