that depends on why you are getting a code. do you have the code number they told you. if the code is for missing after cat 02s then i dont see how that would effect your idle. those 02s are to monitor the catalytic converters. if your in a state that has emissions testing your not going to pass.

• P0033 Turbo Charger Bypass Valve Control Circuit
• P0034 Turbo Charger Bypass Valve Control Circuit Low
• P0035 Turbo Charger Bypass Valve Control Circuit High
• P0036 HO2S Heater Control Circuit (Bank 1 Sensor 2)
• P0037 HO2S Heater Control Circuit Low (Bank 1 Sensor 2)
• P0038 HO2S Heater Control Circuit High (Bank 1 Sensor 2)
• P0039 Turbo/Super Charger Bypass Valve Control Circuit Range/Performance
• P0040 Upstream Oxygen Sensors Swapped From Bank To Bank
• P0041 Downstream Oxygen Sensors Swapped From Bank To Bank
• P0042 HO2S Heater Control Circuit (Bank 1 Sensor 3)
• P0043 HO2S Heater Control Circuit Low (Bank 1 Sensor 3)
• P0044 HO2S Heater Control Circuit High (Bank 1 Sensor 3)
• P0050 HO2S Heater Control Circuit (Bank 2 Sensor 1)
• P0051 HO2S Heater Control Circuit Low (Bank 2 Sensor 1)
• P0052 HO2S Heater Control Circuit High (Bank 2 Sensor 1)

well i got new o2 sensors and that fixed my idle issue.I went to the shop and they showed me how to use the programmer.
I asked them about the dyno numbers and they said they were accurate and the low numbers were bc it was an auto and im losing 30 percent of power bc of it.They told me some of the other numbers of other cars that were dynod and they all sounded low to me.But they said the guy that comes and does the tuning has a good rep and apparently he is pretty good.

any shiesty business owner will tell you something like that just to squeeze that extra buck out of you (or he really could be good at what he does)

also 30% seems a little high yes the manual gives you more hp and fuel econ (mainly because its easier to turn a manual than an auto) but i dont think youd lose 100hp
