agree with gorn a failing 02 sensor can mess with the a/f mix and cause a pretty good loss of hp. it may be good dyno or not.

but my car was a 95 which meant no rear o2... in turn there was nothing there to tell if i had a cat or not and that didnt affect my car

now because you have rear o2s if the cat isnt there to regulate emissions it will throw the rear o2s off causing the engine to compensate for the change weather its adding more fuel or taking some away affecting power performance and fuel economy

and usually those programmers "marry" to the car they were originality set up on which could explain why it wont work on your car... it doesnt recognize the computer

So i got to change my o2s, and get the place i got it tuned at to give me a different programmer.then i can reset my code to delete egr instead of buying cats.

And does all this explain my 229 hp before tune and only 299 after tune?

egr??? no odds are the o2s are fine its because theres no cat that its throwing codes you need to get some cats before anything

the missing after cat 02s will not effect air fuel im assuming its the pre cat 02s that are failing. is there another tuner in your area. i would not take it back to these guys. you could rent or pick up a aldl cable and program then tune yourself or with the help of this place. LT1 PCM Tuning - OBDI/OBDII PCM Tuning/Programming Service you can get 02 simulators for the after cat 02s.

Do o2 simulators mean i can have no cats, no throwing of codes, and a smooth steady idle lol? This place is the only place around that i know of.Im going back tomorrow morning and see what they have to say about all of this bs.
Thanks for everyones help.Im new at this whole programmer tuning stuff, i just want things done right.
