Default Thermostat

Hi good guys,
I am in Ghana, West Africa where the weather gets really hot up to 37 degrees Celsius. Can I take out the thermostat so the engine can always be cool?

Advice needed.

Also, I just realized that my dashboard is cracking. Is there a way to protect it since the car is most of the time in the tropical sun

is the motor running hot? taking the thermostat can make the motor run hotter by not giving the radiator time to do its job of cooling the coolant. u can put a switch in so u can run the radiator fans when u wish.

once the dash pad starts to crack the damage is done. start lookin for another dashpad. good ones are not cheap. they do make dash covers that simulate the dash that may be a good way to go. they are not expensive.
