No, it not aftermarket. I should not have used the term toggle. It's a rocker switch. It was an option on the 99. Don't recall the RPO code. But it's definitely stock. I couldn't figure it out at first, just says SGS. i didn;t have a manual so I got one off E-Bay and it describes it in there. I think it was new for 99 and not sure if they put it on the later models. Would be particularly useful if I lived where this is snow and ice. But we have "icey roads in Texas when it's 110 and that asphalt gets slick.. SOmetimes they have to sand the roads because of it. ANd if there a little rain on them, it worse than ice.

i can pull off a 2nd gear start, but not any other gear, bad for the tranny, sometimes i forget shes in 3rd at a stop light or somethin and try to take off, and clunk...shes dead..but i had to start in 2nd for a while, cause when i bought my rims, the rears had some nitto drag radials, so if it was raining, ohh boy, not good

ight heres the story behind the introduction of that switch, im sure most people with 95s and back when it rains, you lose control right even if you could be going about 5 miles an hour, in 96 to 98 SS they put adjustable Rear suspension on them, which provides better conrtol of the rear end andhelps it from spinning out, not saying its going to work all the time, but yea ive never drivin one with it, so i dont know if it works and is better o not
all i know is im getting 4 wheel indpendent suspension so i can make better turns and ****, and get betterimproved over my car
Hint: cops have 4 wheel indpendent suspension, thats why they can bust U turns really easy and can make others spin out but still have control over there car
ive been working on a few Cop cars and Gutted cop cars, they got some impresive **** on there impalla SS n Crown vics
