i want to paint my tail panel black, and i havnt really looked how to take it off. Does anyone know if you need to take the bumper off or what you have to do to take if off??

 

No need to take the bumper off. Pop the trunk and pull the liner back and there will be 4 bolts that hold the panel in. The first 2 are obvious, the other 2 are further in past the tail lights. You'll also hafta pull the tail lights as well. They are removed with the 2 plastic clip type screws.

Yeah dude its really easy. Took me about 15-20 minutes to get it off. Just make sure to properly tuck in the taillamp wiring harnesses when you put it back on.
