t56 question

are the spline count on the m49 the same as a t56 i have a 3.4 manual 5speed and id like to swap a t56 6 speed in will it work?

nevermind i learned today that since the 3.4 is a 60degree block the trans wont work and that the engine is not powerful enough for a sixth gear so im stuck with five gears

Yeah a 3.4 has absolutely no need for a 6th gear lol.
