yeah man, ttops are the ****, i love them, i acutally like targa even more, like the vettes have, but i still love my tops

 

I don't remember the last time i took mine off. I hate the way the car looks without them. If I could have got my car as a hardtop I would have, they are stiffer and slightly lighter, but it was too hard to find a black or SSO Camaro SS hardtop.

 

well yeah mr. icanpickthefrontwheelsofftheground i would have wanted a hard top too

 

I think they look better with t-tops on or off. I just like how it sets if off.

 

I am from up north, so as the disclaimer said this only applies to warm weather. I use my T-tops all the time. I especially find them fun to use on warm nights in the summer. I use them on road trips too, I once drove 350 miles with them off. As for security I dont leave anything in my car of value so I dont mind leaving it with them off. Mainly because with the doors locked if someone reaches in and unlocksthem my car alarm goes off and you cant start the car with the alarm going off, so it being stolen is not an issue. However, if I am going to be away from it for a while or I am in the big city I just put them on, it doesnt take long.

 

Also in regards to locking the T-tops, I never lock mine I dont see the point. Is there really any advantage to locking them? Its not like it secures them down any tighter.

 

yeah, its just a safety feature, i still leave mine locked when the ttops stay on the car, just cause it makes me feel better, haha, but i love the look of my t/a with them off, just so mean nd sexy
