i have one to the upper left of my radio but i think its a rear defroster switch as far as i know.should i have a traction control switch though?

 

It depends on whetheryour car has traction control or not. If you can mash the gas pedal to the floor, rip the tires free and do a nice burnout, and the car doesn'tinterrupt your fun, then you don't have traction control.

 

so does anyone know if my switch deff is the rear defroster??

 

The rear defroster should be the button on the climate control panel, on the left side of it.

 

How do people not know what the switches do in their own cars?!
