My center console lid is fkd up and isn't salvageable. Anyone know where I can find one for a decent price. Every website I've found wants to rape you with anywhere from $130 to $200 for one. They even have the ***** to try to charge $30 for the little plastic latch clip.. wtf? lol

 

Finding one at a reasonable price is gonna be tough. I've looked for more than a year for a nicely priced lid for my '96. I just found a NOS console lid for mine on ebay last month for $100 plus a few bucks shipping.

 

Just keep checking ebay. I've looked for a long time for a new lid because mine was broken in 3 pieces. But I fixed it so I stopped looking. I'd say either try to go to a junk yard as soon as they get f-bodies in because that's one of the first things to get pulled out or just keep checking around. Unfortunately, they don't seem to get much cheaper than $100+

Try some of your local salvage yards. I got lucky and found a complete center console with a good lid in a wreck and the guy told me I could have it if I took it out. Fortunately, down here, there are still several bone yards that will let you roam around and look for what you need.

 

if your in sac picknpull has a 97 camaro with complete center console its dirty from sitting out but i bet it wont cost much

 

What part(s) of your center console lid is broken? The plastic hinge on my center console lid was completely broken off. I reattached the lid to the console with a metal hinge and wood screws, then colored them black to match. Is this the same thing that’s broken on yours?

 

I would check ebay or you could even post a wanted add on craigslist. I know craigslist is a far fetch but you never know what someone will be looking to get rid of.
