I only need the compartment part with the lid. my hinge broke. I cant find that piece anywhere. i can only find the lid. or the compartment part with no padding. What am i supposed to do with that?

 

They are 2 seperate parts,the lid with the padding is screwed onto the top of the compartment.

 

If your hinge broke just go to Home Depot hardware dept. and buy a piece of piano hinge. Then drill the holes to match your's and put it on.

 

jawknee, you should put your location in so its easier to see where your from, that would help anyone who may be local to help. x2 on the piano hinge, but if you would rather replace it, classicindustries.com should have it new, used i might have one but it would have to be the whole console.
