Suspension Upgrade

I do have another question about the lowering springs and shocks; if I replaced the stock 16's with aftermarket 18" wheels, would these lowering springs and shocks still work or would there be clearance issues? And if they do work, what kind of drop should I be looking at, 1", 1.3", 1.5", etc.? Thanks again.

Well it all depends on the backspacing, rim size, and tire size you go with. I have 17 X 9.5's all around with normal backspacing, running 275/40 tires, car is lowered 1.5" all the way around and I have no problems at all. You could run 18 X 9.5 with maybe 300/30, whatever would be the same tire height as a 275/40/17 and should be fine. What ever shocks and springs you go with would work for any rim/tire that fits.

Koni SA shocks are about $950 (I bought mine on sale for $850) and you can use the lower perch to lower the front with them. Otherwise if budget dictates, go Bilstein HD or Edelbrock.
Welded subframe connectors from UMI, STB, if you want lowering springs get Strano's. To finish it all off, a Watts Link to replace your panhard bar.

Just out of curiosity, what kind of shocks have you guys had the best luck with? Bilstein? KYB? Monroe? Edelbrock? Do or should I buy some new mounts too?
Also, if I'm looking to lower my ride and buy lowering springs, shocks, and panhard rod, do I have to buy relocation kits for them too?
Thanks for the help!
