Default suspension and tire size

hey wuts up everyone i was wondering if anyone could help me out? i want toget some rimsfor my car. i was thinking of getting some 18 inch rims but i'm not sure how wide to get them. i want to get them as wide as i can with out having them rub when someone is in the back seat.i'm thinking about getting some nitto tires, or what would be a better set of tires. i also was thinking aboutgetting edelbrocks handling suspension package from summit so can nyone help me out?

i went with slp's springs and shocks package i am very happy with it. it handles better than my dads vette. i have 275's all around and have no rubbing. but i have 17's

I have 275's all around no problem, you should be able to get up to a 315 in the rear with little to no rubbing, but you'll pay an arm and a leg for rear tires, and you can't rotate them, that's the reason I didn't go for a 315 in the back. Nitto makes a pretty good tire(I'm assuming you're looking for a drag radial?), I hear that Mickey Thompson drag radials are better than the Nitto's although I haven't had any personal experience with either radial.

if you get 18's get a 18x10 in rear, 18x9 or 18x8 in front depending on front tire width, why not get 19's or 20's?
