sunroof?
I've seen it done on vans before, back when van conversions were a big thing. Van roofs are bigger too, and it works well because you don't have to argue with the wife...I want it open, no I want it closed! I've even installed a single pop-up sunroof in a car before. The hardest part is that first cut through the roof. And it doesn't leak as long as you do it right. Two separate small ones on a Camaro would just look goofy, unless your car is the kind that sports fuzzy dice and **** carpeting.
lol, yeah, I was thinking two would be fesable, since most people don't want to mess with that center pillar. I guess it would look weird, it was just an idea that came to me while driving.
man im not trying to rag on you but u were complaining about how you were in a tough financial situation so you sold your V8 truck or jeep or something for a V6 camaro and now you want(key word is want)to do all this expensive **** to it... You and Yenk alike are spending your money (or thinking about spending your money) in the wrong places. On that note a top up sunroof isnt going to gain you any more airflow as opening both windows would. maybe alil more but not much.
It wont affect structrual integrity anymore than T-tops would (and they dont) the roof is really just a piece of fiberglass with the pillar towards the back and the middle that connects to the windshield as its real support. In a roll over accident t-top or coupe if your driving a camaro your screwed..

How do you figure that cutting holes in a solid surace will not weaken it? Take a sheet of plywood. I bet most people if placed across tow saw horses could stand on it. No cut two holes into it. Ya still think you could stand on it? No, it would bow or snap in half. Dont T-top camaros also have the brace across the under carriage, or is that just the convert camaro?
Oh no.....not this subject again!!!
The substructure of a hardtop and t-top Camaro is the same. The center support pillar is already under the steel roof. The roof is only a skin that can be cut off to convert the car to a t-tops model. It's not a structural piece of metal.

lol, cool off 73, spartan's fine.
I thought of two sunroofs because they would not affect structure. Don't worry everyone, I'm not gonna cut anything up. lets let this one die in peace.

Chappie, like mentioned before a hard top is a T-top with like less than 1/2 and inch thick fiberglass covering where the t-tops go. not much for support.
