Default Stubborn Shifter Cup Bushing

Having some trouble getting out the shifter cup bushing. Don’t know if it’s frozen or anything, it’s below freezing where i live, but i’ve tried heating it up and gettinf it out but the only thing that has happened is a broken top part of the bushing. does anybody know how to really get this thing out?

thanks so much man. where should I drill at though? I’ve tried a screwdriver and hammer as well as a small saw along the edge before posting this, i’m seeing no progress so i’m not sure if this will work. I bought an oem bushing because i don’t really trust the bronze ones, should i glue that one in or just put it in and leave it?

yah drilling could be troublesom, might try heating it again, cant believe it hasnt broken up. do you have a good heat gun, get it hot enough an it should soften the plastic up.

right lol. i don’t have a heat gun to use but do you think a really thick drill bit that fills up the entire hole would get it out?
