Hmm, I am still less than 100k mi., I wonder if they are still on the hook?!
Thanks for the FWD clarification. Mechanics these days are pretty crappy in my experience many times at GM dealerships.
I have multiple examples that led me to this comment.

Apparently I have a lower radiator hose leak, have to check when I return to the shop.
