After talking to myself and doing my own investigation I have managed to solve the problem. First I took apart the box that was making the clicking noise and re-soldered anything that looked Iffy. That did not solve the problem. I know the PO installed something to disable the VATS, and not being familiar with this car, I didnt want to start taking apart things that I did not recognize. If you see my other post titles "ID these electrical things", You will see that I had some sort of aftermarket alarm that had been half removed by the previous owner. This was the reason that every 40 seconds (I timed it) the windows and radio would turn on. I assume this was the alarm attempting to automatically arm itself, and was wired into the RAP or BCM units. Either way, I deleted the alarm system and low and behold, Everything works fine. you know thats what it was the last time we seen this issue. dang aftermarket alarms. 93 does not have a bcm.

 

Thank god, I had an issue similar to this with my Sony deck, requiring me to go and solder something in the BCM...pita

 

so whats that black box tucked behind the gas pedel that had that relay/motor/ engaging apparatus with 5-6 connecting teeth on it that controlled only the windows and radio and lights ? I only assumed BCM because of what it claimed to control on other Fbodies

Or is that the RAP?
