Default stereo connectors

i've tried doing a search and came up empty handed
i'm trying to find out if gen3 and gen 4 stereo connectors are the same
the P.O. of my 93 cut the harness. so i have no connectors
but i have a 92 parts car that still has the stereo in it so i can get the connector if they will work

What are you trying to do? Go from aftermarket stereo back to stock?

He is trying to do a hard wire. Go to the12v.com and check the diagrams. I believe that after 88 they used the same harness. metraonline.com will also be helpful.

If you go to Best Buy, they have a computer back towards the install bay where you can look up speaker sizes and speaker connector types. GM has only used about 3 types of none bose connectors that I know of.
