Default Steering Wheel Column

I noticed in my 1994 z28 that the steering wheel moves down and to the left a little if I pull on it. Anyone else experience this, or is it probably because the previous owner leaned on it to get into the car or something?

Yep, this happens to me, but only when it is in a certain tilt setting. I've read around about this, and according to some source (this forum I believe) its a PITA to fix?

I have the same problem with mine. Also my horn is really sensitive for some odd reason.

Btw, if you pull hard enough. The steering wheel will be released from the mechanism that hold it into place.

?...the steering wheel is bolted to the steering shaft. the only way to release it is to unbolt it.

I'm glad I'm not the only one, but the car is still perfectly driveable so I'll probably just leave it, unless its turns out easy to fix. The only time I notice it is when I pull on it otherwise its normal.
