Default steering issues

wow this car doesn't want to give me any time to catch up with old issues before it throws me new ones to fix.

anyone have any ideas as to what would cause the steering wheel to shake violently at a standstill when turning? at first I thought it was just turned all thee way and just trying to go a little more but then I realized the wheel was still straight. haven't looked anything over yet and havent driven it since for fear that it might happen when driving. basically anytime you turn the wheel it shakes violently like it wants to go but its stuck. happens in both directions. havent touched anything in the steering column area.

Only at a standstill? Have you checked the power steering fluid level? If it is only at a standstill, it to me sounds like something to do with the powersteering.

well I havent driven it so I dont know if it would do it while driving or not. I just checked steering fluid it was a tiny bit low so I filled it and it seems ok now. we'll see. I dont see any leaks though.

it may be an engine problem and not a steering issue
