If you want the whole thing black then just paint it.

If you want an insert like above just google them or visit the site sponsors.

I personally want my 3rd brake light since it helps get the attention of the drivers behind you.

I smoked all of my rear lights with VHT Night Shades. Including the third brake light. But light still comes through just fine. You may want to consider doing that. Especially since a can of VHT is only $11.99. Just an idea. I'll post pics when I get off work =)

I dont want to paint it cuz i want the light to be seen when needed. Im just talking about a plain black cover.

The spray on application actually lets more light through than the plastic covers. I'll post pics in a few minutes when they finally upload to photobucket

The pics look good. Where might I be able to pick up a can of VHT night shade? Does autozone or pepboys sell it? How many coats did you use for your rear lights? Did you use any clear coat for finish? Thanks! =)

I picked up a can of it a Oreilly's for $11.99. Prices vary from location to location. I used 4 light coats on mine. I used clear coat on my dads lights but mine came out shinier... If you use the clear coat on them, you'll have to wet sand and buff them out after wards to get the glass-like finish. Also when your spraying it, spray the coats extremely lightly or it'll come out uneven and nasty looking. I practiced on a milk jug first
