Hey my peeps, i just got a 2002 ss 6 speed it only has 42000 miles and runs perfect.it has an slp intake,high flowMAF and headers. When i take off 1st its good but when 2nd gose in it sound like the tranny or drive shaft hits the car.What do you guys think.(when i shift it hard in a race.)Thanks for any help you guys can give me.my 89 5.7 tpi auto IROC dose the same thing.

 

sounds like the trans mount, or control arm bushing, same thing happened to me a while back, i was like ... what the!!...

I have a 6 speed and I had a tranny mount problem, but then again I've made 100000000000000000 launches in my car over the 9 years I've had it, I just ordered a poly one from summit racing it waas only like 21.94 or something, they come in red or black too PTP-7-1604
