A month after getting the car I noticed it was leaking coolant. I was going to take it somewhere and have it looked at because it wasn't a bad leak. But then it overheated (I mean red lined several times) and started spewing coolant out of the reservoir tank. I put in a new temperature sensor and put more coolant in it and bled the line. Apparently that just wasn't good enough and still had an air lock in it. At that point, I was so frustrated and couldn't drive it far because of the overheating, so I just took it to the garage that's about 5 minutes away from my house and told them to just fix whatever needed fixed. It has a warranty for the car, but of course the only part of the cooling system it covers is the water pump...that's it. It turned out it didn't even have a thermostat. The d-bag before me was having problems with it too apparently and just took it out. There was a crack on the bottom of the tank and you can't fix plastic tanks, so I had to get everything replaced. $500 later I haven't had any more problems with the cooling system.

Nice work so far. I'm not really feeling the guages either but the LED bulbs are a nice touch...mine are blue and I love em. If you don't like the carbon overlay then they do have brushed aluminum or polished stainless which are super nice.

I order a completely new style guage...not just an overlay with blue needles! I think something like that would look great on your car! very pricey tho but way worth it IMO if you want to stand out from the crowd. Here's the link just in case you have not seen them before. Plus needles come in assorted colors and they even do custom stuff . I think white guages with pink needles would have looked sweet on your ride or vise versa! lol

Yeah, I'm getting a new cluster from 6litereater sometime soon, I don't like the overlays, but I don't feel like tearing it apart just to take it off. I have a black and pink theme for them and I asked about pink needles and they can do it. So whenever I get the extra money for the cluster, I'm going to order it. I came up with my own 'concept' art for them. I'm going to be ordering the HVAC set whenever I get my tax return (should be next week). Here's my concepts. Name: clusterconcept.jpg

Default Not a huge update, but an update none-the-less

So I bought my first new head unit. All the other ones I've had were either already in the car, or given to me. So I bought my own. It's a JVC that can display 30 colors...so of course I picked the obvious one to be displayed...pink! And yes...that's the only reason I bought it. But it makes my system sound even better, too.

I'll be doing a lot of new updates soon. I have my new seat covers in the mail, so there's going to be some more big interior changes coming up.

That one was $!40 at Best Buy. They had another one that was identical but was $160 but had the HD radio or something...this one was HD radio ready. I don't listen to the radio, so that didn't matter to me.
