Yup, that's why I needed a resin to coat it, all the sprays I tried using were just being absorbed by the fabric, not getting coated by it.

Not all of it. Just the part that holds the celing speakers. I think I'm gonna experiment on the jeep and if it all works out well I may try some on the Z. I love my ole jeep she makes a good ginea pig lol

Ah ok. They do sell replacement headliner fabric, but it's expensive (about $50 for a roll). I think most fabrics would work, but I would use something with some thickness and stretchiness to it, like a polyester.

I'm just looking for something diffrent and some exprience. Ole Betty has around 250,000 miles and is used for everything from hill jumping to shopping cart bowling. so if things dont work out as planed it's all good

So I did a little more work yesterday on her. I did the headliner, door trim, and almost finished a door panel. I kinda ran out of time and it was really cold out.

This is the painted door panel with fabric to cover the top fabric panel. I have it started, but didn't finish it, that's why there's no finished door panel pic yet.

This isn't part of the interior obviously, but I received my white inserts yesterday while working on her, so I went ahead and threw those on quick.
