SLP spoiler install
I am installing a SS spoiler on the 2000 Z28. The spoiler is coming off a old clone. There is some type of relay hooked inline on the old 93. I am not sure why? Do the SS spoilers have a special break light?
It seems there is some pretty thick 2 sided tape or maybe a lot of RTV used in the install. Anyone know anything about that? a kit maybe?

Relay, everything I found says is just a relay, which makes no sense, It just had an ingoing and out going wire. Also I never checked if the 3rd brake lite worked. The wiring was not a pro, by a long shot. It looked like a lot of the work I had to redo on the harness.
I think I am just going to the parts store and look for double stick tape.

Did some testing, the brake lights are LEDs and it looks like they are using the windings in the relay as the resistor. It is reading about 92 ohms as they have it hooked up. I guess it should be fine. I will fix all the high school wiring and solder all the connections. I just need to get to the parts store to get the heavy double sided tape.
