Default slp lm 1 or gmmg chambered exhaust

Just wanted to know your guys preference on these two exhausts. I am looking for the best american muscle car sound out there. i plan on putting either one of these systems on my stock 02 ss.

My personal opinion would be to go with SLP Loudmouth

Do you really care about sound first and performance second?

Personally I will go for performance first anyone know which flows better? What Cat-back flows BEST? It is often hard to find comparison numbers (HP dyno results backed-up by track tests), which any reputable vendor should really provide in their description...

most catback systems yield the same gains. i would NOT listen to what the company that is manufacturing the part says for increases in horsepower because most of the time its not true. get real life results and go from there. GMMG is kind of the big dog of the catback systems

+1 most catbacks with only a few exceptions flow the same amount of air. I remember a while back some one did a dyno with a open Y-pipe then with the SLP. The dyno curves look the exact same with the pulls only showing a 1-2 horse drop in power in the mid section of the power curve. I like the LM my self i ran it when i was NA and it sounded great both during normal driving and in the upper part of the power band.

Besides, they're both essentially straight pipes. The only difference is that the LMs are shaped diferently, and chambered mufflers use tiny...I guess what you'd call air-path-changers to alter the sound. They don't actually obstruct the flow though.
