Car are an extention of who you are. An lumina with 80K says I am a practical man. Don't waste your time trying to get someone else to buy a car you like because you like it. Camaro's are hard to get in and out of and sit very low. These are two feature most older people do not look for. At best you should suggest he drive one. He may not like the design at all. The 4th gen Camaro lost the pony war that raged 35+ years. It was not because of engineering but style. A lot of people do not like 4th gens at all.

Thanks. Well the thing ism he won't be driving either one of them unless his cars break down.
He thinks this is the only deal he will ever find on the lumina and is like, I have to get it. Someone else is going to ****** it up.
What kind of mpg does a 2000 V-6 camaro get? And are the 3.8's more dependable than the 3.1?

Yea, if you plan to drive in the cold, snow, ice (esp. after Gorn's story!) -- I would not suggest a 'Vert. -- but 99% of the time, my top is down in my Vert. -- it's only up if I park & chance of rain.

I would not suggest a 3.4L -- unless that is the only one you could afford, or get a great deal...
