Short Shift Stick Install - HELP!
Hi All,
Embarrassed to ask, but I did search, google, youtube etc... Bought a Hawks short stick shift rod (not a full shift kit, just the rod) for my '94 6 speed. I removed the two bolts holding the rod in place, but couldn't get the original rod out. Is there a bolt I'm missing, or something else, or is it just stubborn from being 24 years old?

This is my 93 with the factory Hurst shifter. Once the two bolts are off it the shift should fall off.
