one of my buddies jsut picked up a 02 camaro, since im more of a toyota i dont know if the same kind of companies would cover both american and jdm.
BUT my question is what is one of the most legit shocks for the 02 camaro. hes looking to spend around 1000 bucks but doesnt want coils because they dont get stiff enough for the 1000 price range

 

I guess the question would be: What is he wanting to do with the car? Autocross? Drag race? Street Race? Daily Driver?
There are a lot of options out there, but without knowing what he wants to do with it, makes it harder to offer an opinion on what to get.

 

i take it your talking coil over shocks is what he doesnt want. if thats so then i would say koni double adjustable, have a look at what sam strano has and if he is interested in buying then give him a call and make sure what you want is going to do what you want. sam is good with suspension and very good to work with but have an idea of what you want before calling.
