Im looking into buying a shift kit, but i have no idea what kind i shouuld get i was looking at buying this one

man i was wandering the same thing. i have a 1993 z28 camaro with the 4l60 or 700r4 not sure which one but how much will it cost for the kit and installation.

 

the shift kit to go with is the b&m shift improver kit its 40$ out of jegs. just dont put it in your self unless you know what you are doing. Its not that hard you just have to go slow because if one little thing is wrong your trans wont work or it will get messed up

 

by the way all camaros 1993 and up have the 4l60e trans stock

 

I'm quite sure the '93s came with 4L60. Not the 4L60E.

Look down at the Camaro and Firebird. '94+ came with 4L60E. So what MYCARSUX88 said will work for the original poster, but it won't work for sl1foru. I didn't much care for the Electronic Shift Improver myself, as all I could tell was that it shifted harder, not necessarily faster.

 

is that bad for your tranny to shift harder at all? also how much would it cost to put in still?
