Default Any ideas?

I just bought a 1997 Z28. it already has a chip, cool air intake, new flowmaster, and a shift kit in it. im looking for some ideas on what else to put into it to give it that extra boost.

thanks

On the contrary, the throttle body and injecters you have in it will support over 400 hp easily. I agree with the headers statement, go with long tubes and a mandrel bend Y pipe with high flow cats, that'll get you something. You could think about putting a more aggressive cam into it if you are comfortable with engine work. With what you have on it right now, and the headers, you've almost maxed out bolt-ons. The only other bolt-ons I can think of would be a 160 deg. thermostat(that can get you a little bit if you get the PCM tuned correctly) and a new housing for your throttle body(that'll get you about 7rwhp or so).

tie your subframes together - that will stiffen up the chassis, imrove handling& launch as well as reduce hatch rattle for about $150. torque converter will make mad improvements also.

One thing about chips. The computer on your car does not accept chips, so I think the seller of the car gave you some embellishment there.

Thats why they sell hand-held programmers to "force" the ECU into working with the chip, hence why people sell Chips for LT1's and LS1 motors with the computer.
