Hey guys,

My shift console bulb burnt out and there are plenty of how to fix it guides but I couldn't fine what bulb it took. Does anyone know?

 

Can you get the old one out? There should be numbers on it. But if I remember right it's a 73LL or 74LL.

shows a 73 here Official 4th Gen F-Body Light Bulb List - LS1TECH so whats the difference between a 73 and a 74 watts?

 

Not really sure, just the 74 replaces a lot of different bulbs, and is only one they Make in leds.

 

I am going with LED's. I found blue 74 on e-bay for a $1 (includes shipping). The price kinda scares me but for that price, I will at least try them.

 

According to what I found 74 is just the LED version of 73. If those tend to be crappy, go to superbrightleds.com

That's were I got the ones for my dash and shift indicator. They were inexpensive and shipped pretty fast.

I replaced the bulb and it looks good. The hardest part was getting the coin tray off to get to the bolts underneath.
