Automatic shift console lighting question.
Hey all, I was curious if anyone could tell me how to fix the console lighting in my 94Z. You know the lights on the center console that illuminate which gear youre in? Obviously I know which gear the car is in, but im trying to get everything working the way it should. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Yes. Take your time and dont break it!! They are expensive to replace, even used ones are roughly $100 on some sites.
Remove the shift ****, open the center console and take out the screws and it should pick right up. Be careful, theres wiring attached though. Or at least there should be..

It's a 37 bulb. It's right under the shift plate (in an auto) by the driver side. The whole console doesn't need to come out completely, just enough to lift it up and twist the socket out. Getting the bulb out of the socket might be more difficult because of how little it is. It's easier just to break it and take it out with pliers. I replaced mine with an LED so it won't burn out ever again.
